Do you like to travel?
If so, where do you like to go, foreign countries or your country?

I’m now satisfied with my country, Japan, and so I enjoy traveling around the country.

I prefer traveling in my country Japan to abroad

As an inborn Japanese , living in Japan since my childhood feels little special mood for me to go to some places in this country.

Today so many foreign tourists are eager to travel to Japan because of its weak yen, high-level security, many high-quality goods made in this country.

On the contrary, I enjoy traveling to many places in Japan while I’m a kind reluctant to travel abroad, other countries than Japan.

Aren’t I interested in foreign countries?
No, but I feel not a few of risks of going abroad. As long as I’m in Japan, I can take a nap in a train car, I don’t have to consider exchange rate, I need not image the dishes I want to eat in front of a restaurant: in Japan most restaurants have plastic models of dishes in their showcase in their front, and I don’t have to remember many foreign words and grammar: Japanese is the unique language we can make ourselves.

In short, traveling in Japan is easier for me than in any other countries.

Minimal trip in the neighborhood

By the way, Japan is, as you may know, a small country. So many of you, who are from large countries such as the US or Canada, may think all places in Japan look like the same in various aspects.
However, this small country has surprising diversity according to places and seasons.
Even in my neighborhood, you can see and find many difference in dishes and scenery.

I usually go for a walk in my neighborhood and enjoy watching its nature. Sometimes watching the locals working in the fields, rice paddles and woods are interesting to me.
The scenery is too common and it’s too hard to be regarded as eye-catching, but in this country various things come according to seasonal transition, and so I think a mere event in our daily life can be a matter to pay some attention to.

Wandering around my neighborhood is enjoyable

When I have some time, I often go for a walk in my neighborhood in my town.
While walking, I can enjoy many scenic views, woods and weeds.
Walking alongside streams is fun. I can see many plants, birds and insects.
Sometimes little fish are swimmin in a stream: the water of many streams here are very clean.

Few soghseeing resources make us enjoy ourselves

There are few features in my town and, to be honest, my town is very common: I sometimes see foreign tourist, but most of them appear to have little to do here and go to other scenic spots before long.
This is because town has few sightseeing resourses, unfortunately.

However, as one of local people, I can feel it affirmative because this situation gives us precious silence: we can do without any disturbance between local people and tourists.

There may be countless forms of tourism in the world, but, in this way, unique and enjoyable tourism(travel?) like this may be just around you.
